Tony and Joel were friends since they were babies. On day Joel asked his father to go to the park. He and Tony did not go to the park instead the went to the Vermillion River. Tony drowned because he was not a good swimmer. Joel was grief stricken when he realized that his friend was probably dead. He goes home and never said a word to anyone about what had happened. He was conforted by his father.
